Quite a lot of visitors come to this site looking for a lite version of OpenOffice, and seeking to put a portable version of OpenOffice on their thumb/flash drives.

Now, PortableApps has a portable version of Java, which is useful for flash-drive installs of OpenOffice, and another free open source favourite – Firefox.
